Dry and pleasant Tuesday ahead, shower chances return Wednesday
Yesterday brought a decent amount of rain to the region, especially our northwestern counties. It was a difficult day to predict exactly where and when the heaviest rain would occur. The region averaged around 1" of much-needed rainfall yesterday, with occasional downpours and a rogue thunderstorm or two as well. This morning, showers and drizzle will linger a bit before some clearing takes place. This afternoon and evening should bring some sunshine and nicer weather to Central PA. Highs will be in the mid-80s today. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the mid-60s. Tomorrow looks nice and perhaps slightly less humid. Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies, with a few clouds in the afternoon. Highs will again be in the mid-80s.
