Drunk Driver Slams Into Utility Pole After Wild Maryland Police Chase

LaVale, MD – A high-speed pursuit through Allegany County ended Friday afternoon when a fleeing driver crashed into a utility pole in LaVale after allegedly striking two police vehicles during the chase, according to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested 27-year-old Gabriel William Nosek of Linden, Michigan, following the pursuit, which began around 4:28 p.m. on Mt. Savage Road near Corriganville.
