Doorbell cam bandit hits multiple homes in Southeast DC crime spree
Washington, DC — A string of overnight break-ins and property crimes across Southeast has police searching for a suspect caught on camera targeting homes in a tight time window.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the incidents unfolded between April 13 and April 14 across several blocks in Southeast.
The first case occurred around 11:11 p.m. on April 13, when the suspect unlawfully entered a residence in the 300 block of 2nd Street Southeast. No property was reported taken.
