Food delivery worker robbed of bike and cash in late-night Brooklyn ambush

Brooklyn, NY — A food delivery worker was targeted and robbed late at night when suspects approached him on the street and took off with his vehicle and cash.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. April 22 outside 492 Madison Street. Police said the 39-year-old victim was making deliveries on a two-wheeled vehicle when he was approached by multiple individuals.

Authorities said the suspects forcibly took the victim’s vehicle along with a fanny pack containing $147 before fleeing eastbound on Madison Avenue.

No injuries were reported, and the suspects remain at large.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible as the case remains under investigation.
