Dax Shepard Says Daughter Delta, 11, Wants a Baby — and He’s Offering to Pay to Freeze Her Eggs

Dax Shepard is already thinking about grandpa life — even if it’s still very far away.

The 51-year-old actor and “Armchair Expert” podcast host recently opened up about a sweet (and surprisingly thoughtful) conversation he had with his younger daughter, Delta, 11, after she shared that she dreams of becoming a mom someday. Dax shares Delta, as well as daughter Lincoln, 12, with wife Kristen Bell.

“Delty was saying how she can’t wait to have a baby,” Dax recalled on the Monday, January 5, episode of Armchair Expert.

According to the proud dad, Delta’s nurturing side is already on full display at home. “For people who don’t know, our life is a traveling circus of Delty’s stuffies,” he joked. “The bulk of our luggage as a family are her stuffies.”

When Delta first brought up wanting kids in the future, Dax said he was careful with how he responded, wanting to be supportive without pushing any expectations.

“She’s saying she wants to have a baby, and I said, ‘When do you think you’ll have your first child? When you turn 18?’ I want to be supportive of whatever,” he explained. “I don’t want to plant any seeds that I’d be judgmental or whatever.”
