Congress secures $26M for Oceanside flood mitigation project

California elected officials have secured $26 million in federal funding to support flood mitigation efforts in Oceanside, which will go towards the San Luis Rey River Project to remove sediment, improve the levee system, and provide funds for geotechnical investigations.
