'Come volunteer': Non-profit helps Nevadans at risk of losing SNAP

Approximately 44,000 Nevadans are at risk of losing their SNAP benefits. Starting March 1, SNAP recipients will have to meet new requirements to keep their benefits. Able-bodied adults, without dependents, must complete 20 hours of approved work activities or risk losing assistance.
