Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce to be sidelined for start of training camp

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — With the start of Colts training camp beginning on Tuesday, the Colts announced that star wide receiver Alec Pierce and rookie linebacker C.J Allen have been placed on the ‘Active/Physically Unable to Perform’ list ahead of training camp.

The Colts shared the news on X.

Both Pierce and Allen being put on the PUP list is a label for players who cannot practice due to football-related injuries before training camp.

Pierce dealt with a lingering left ankle issue for parts of last season and received a procedure on his ankle this past March after the season concluded.
