Circle City Broadcasting expands local programming on WRTV with three new weekend shows

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Circle City Broadcasting is expanding its commitment to local journalism in Central Indiana with the launch of three new weekend programs on WRTV.

DuJuan McCoy, owner, president and CEO of Circle City Broadcasting — which owns WISH-TV, WRTV and MyINDY-TV 23 — announced the additions Thursday. The new shows, Business, Equity & Opportunities (BE&O), All Indiana Politics (AIP) and The Zone Extra, will debut May 9.

The programming will replace paid commercial content and add more locally focused coverage to WRTV’s lineup.

Business, Equity & Opportunities (BE&O) will air Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The weekly Indiana-based show focuses on small business development and nonprofit leadership, featuring local entrepreneurs sharing their experiences. The program is produced by Peggy McClelland of Circle City Broadcasting Entertainment.

Following BE&O, The Zone Extra will air Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to noon. The show expands on Central Indiana high school sports coverage with extended highlights, expert analysis and in-depth storytelling focused on local athletes and teams.

All Indiana Politics (AIP) will air Sundays from 11:30 p.m. to midnight. The weekly, nonpartisan program will cover state and local government, policy decisions and elections impacting communit...
