Chicago, IL – A man was shot and seriously injured Friday night after allegedly firing at Chicago police officers responding to a domestic disturbance in the city’s Gresham neighborhood, authorities said.

According to the Chicago Police Department, at approximately 7:49 p.m. on January 23, uniformed officers from the 6th District responded to a report of a domestic dispute involving a man armed with both a gun and a knife in the 7900 block of South Ingleside Avenue.
