INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Kolache Factory locations will offer free pastries on March 1, 2026, in celebration of National Kolache Day. Guests can receive one free fruit or cream cheese kolache at participating stores while supplies last. No purchase is necessary; visitors simply need to say “Happy National Kolache Day” to claim their pastry.

The annual event allows the Houston-based company to thank regular customers and introduce the traditional Czech pastry to those who have never tried it. Kolaches were brought to the United States by Czech immigrants in the mid-1800s and became a staple in Texas and other areas with strong Czech heritage.
