California leads the way in NASA's Artemis II Moon Mission

California is playing a major role in the Artemis II Moon Mission, with more than 500 companies and 16,000 workers contributing to NASA's historic lunar mission, and the U.S. Navy assisting with the recovery of the crew when they return to Earth off the San Diego coast.
