BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — A Brownsburg Fire Territory ambulance crashed into a creek after encountering icy conditions early Sunday morning.

At 5 a.m. Sunday, A Brownsburg Fire Territory ambulance was returning to its station after completing a call for service. Road conditions at the time were extremely hazardous, with ice covering the roads.

While traveling on County Road 550 East, the ambulance lost control after encountering icy conditions, struck a guardrail, and overturned into a creek. There was no patient in the ambulance at the time of the incident.
