Bank fraud suspect caught on camera after stolen ID used at Salisbury bank

Wicomico County detectives ask for help identifying person linked to identity theft investigation

SALISBURY, MD — A person captured on security cameras at a Salisbury bank is being sought for questioning after investigators say a stolen identification card was used in an attempt to fraudulently withdraw money from a victim’s account.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office said detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying the individual seen in surveillance images at Hebron Savings Bank on Mt. Hermon Road.

According to investigators, the individual is the primary suspect in an ongoing investigation involving malicious destruction of property, theft, fraud, identity theft and other related offenses.
