14-year-old rushed to hospital after afternoon gunfire on Noble Street

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 14-year-old boy was rushed to a hospital after gunfire erupted on a Southeast Baltimore street Thursday afternoon, with police quickly taking a person of interest into custody as detectives raced to determine what led to the shooting.

BALTIMORE, Md. — Officers responded at approximately 3:17 p.m. to the 3600 block of Noble Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 14-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
