Annual Kern County homeless population count finishes with crucial data

Hundreds of volunteers gathered before the sun was up to get crucial data on one of Kern's most vulnerable populations. The annual point-in-time count gives a sense of how many homeless people are in our county, which contributes to national funding for programs.
