GOSHEN, Ind. (WISH) — Two juveniles were killed and two others seriously injured Friday morning when a pickup collided with a horse-drawn cart, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office said on social media and in its app.

The crash happened about 8:05 a.m. Friday on State Road 4, west of County Road 37. That’s about a 10-mile west of Goshen, and about a 20-minute drive south of Indiana’s border with Michigan.

Deputies think that the westbound pickup struck the rear of the horse-drawn cart.

Two juveniles died in the crash, and the other juveniles were taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
